I had to do Maleah's lunch in a hurry today. I spent about 4 1/2 hours tagging clothes for the consignment sale this weekend. Last time I worked on it a little each day but this time I waited until the last minute.
Maleah has a biscuit stuffed with ham and cheese, goldfish, a fruit roll up, grapes, and mixed veggies with ranch. Not the best I've made but it only took a few minutes.
It's a new school year and Maleah is ready to start taking her lunch again! I am trying to blog from my Droid so no clue how this will turn it out. Hopefully attached to this post is Maleah's lunch for tomorrow. Heart shaped pizza, grapes, mixed veggies w/ ranch and a mini cupcake.
Tomorrow's lunch is not the most beautiful lunch I have ever made - but it should definitely fill her up :) I think I may be able to get groceries tomorrow after all thanks to the help of my very best friend.
Grapes Turkey Sausage String Cheese Smarties from her Easter Basket to fill the space Corn in Butter Sauce Heart Shaped Brownie not pictured
I'm baaaaack :) After 6 months of cafeteria food Maleah has decided she wants me to pack her lunch again. I seriously have no groceries and no money to buy food until Thursday at least - but I am going to make this work somehow. :)
I had a box of brownie mix in my cabinet and the 2 eggs (and no more) that I needed to make them. Tre contributed all the packets of M&Ms from his Easter basket. LOL I have had these star and heart aluminum containers from the dollar store FOREVER. Next I am going to make jello in them. :)
This week should be interesting with the lack of everything but I am going to attempt it anyway.
Last week I didn't do very good at taking pics. Maleah had a dr appt one day and went home sick one day. One day she had Hello Kitty shaped waffles, bacon and something else I can't remember. One day I did take a pic, but I didn't have the memory card in so it is on the internal memory of MIL's camera and I don't have a USB cord to get it off. ;( Anyway, I will try to do better. Here is tomorrow's bento.
Hard boiled egg
Mini Chocolate Chip Muffins
Garlic Pizza Bread Stick
Carrots (side of ranch not pictured)
"Sharks" (Goldfish Wanna-bes) to fill in the gaps
I usually try to add a fruit too but Maleah never eats the whole lunch so I figured I would just leave it out.
The kids missed school Wednesday because we went to Linville Caverns and Falls on Tuesday and the Biltmore Estate on Wednesday. It rained the whole time we were at Biltmore but it was still beautiful. Here are just a couple of my fav pics from Biltmore. I wish they would let you take pics inside the house.
Thursdays Bento:
I didn't take a picture of Friday's bento. It was just leftovers from a Japanese restaurant. Steak and Chicken, Rice and Mushrooms.
